Ingredients to avoid!

    If it has the word Solvent-based oil additive, Solvent-based flush additive for motors and transmissions - and the warning says something like "Do not drive with this product in the oil." "Do not increase speed of motor or motor will be subject to severe damage," - Stay away from those common part store additives.

    Stay away from thick, honey like additives

    Today's motors and transmissions require water-thin lube oils. That is for 2 reasons: 1- The space between your pistons bearings, valves and gears are cannot accept a thick oil additive molecule. Your car requires Ow-5 oils. Thickener type additives may impede lubrication - staving moving parts of its lubrication. That is not good! 2- Thin oils increase fuel economies.
